The Trans Discussion
by Madison Cormick on May 06, 2021
CIS PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING TO ADD TO TRANS DISCUSSION. If you’re cis (cis = the same gender you were assigned at birth), your role in discussions about trans identities is to silently listen to trans people (this includes nonbinary people), and to use what you learn from us to correct and educate your fellow cis people.Being a good ally means not centering yourself, your voice, or your opinions. Let us speak. Respect us.If you are trans, trust that you know yourself better than anyone else. Those who attack and invalidate you do not have a day in who you are.You are good and you are valid. I love you. Model credit: my lovely follower @little_mug_makes
